That's a really nice benefit. Most places I've worked, the customer usually comes first and employees have to wait like anyone else.

Well the Bridger Gondola carries 8 people at a time and has an hourly capacity of around 3,000. That's from the day when Jackson Hole sold 7,000 tickets which is a record for them..the early bird gets the worm..

7,000? That's it? Wow, that's not a lot of people at all for a mountain it's size. A place like Okemo routinely sees 14K on weekends and I guess the main detachable there actually has just about as bad of a liftline if not worse than what is in that picture.

Yup..Jackson Hole doesn't attract the huge crowds of VT and Colorado. They only do about 400k skier visits a year in a 120something day season. But Jackson Hole has less lift capacity than Okemo.

One thing about the last place I skied, Kicking Horse BC.......NO lines...Panorama even less..desolate. One of the perks when you go to the end of the earth.

The funny part is that the gondi line is nothing compared to Thunder on a pow day. The singles line will stretch all the way back around under the lift and up Ampitheater.

15 inches? Don't tell anyone but we had 8 feet of snow in the past week here at the bird and I didn't wait in any lines today. weird.
