Both get windblown to hell, especially Obsession. Many days you can stand at the top facing down it and get a nice facial from all the snow getting wind scoured off it.
When I was 11 or 12, that was the Super-G race hill. One of my teammates came almost to a stop after coming out of the start because of the wind blast up the hill.

Salvation isn't nearly as bad, IMO; it's narrow enough to retain the snow, and the corners probably help keep it from becoming a wind tunnel like Heats Off up through the top of Obsession. The terrain and trail layout make it a blast to run arc-to-arc as long as you don't catch someone puttering down it ahead of you.

good call. the terrain on either side of the groomers on that peak is some of my favorite at Breck. Never crowded over there either and you can alternate tree runs with steepish groomers its really a great area.

That is the go to lift for us especially on a busy day since there is a decent choice of bump, tree and cruiser runs. And the lift line is minimal to none even on busy days. It is like a little secret area. The lift line for Chair 6 generally has long lines and you need that to get to the Imperial Lift.

The others at Breck there are Horseshoe Bowl T-bar and E Chair. E Chair technically has access to Peak Nine trails but everything under that chair is decent expert terrain.
