I think we should give some respect to our friend over in Iraq. Not only does he have time to kick some a$$ but he posts daily! Right on man, right on. Thanks for going over there and helping our country out. In no way is this political just showing my respect.

I think it is cool that you are taking time to post with us and to connect to skiing and riding through us. I also think that it is great that you remind us about what it means to be free and live in the USA. :flag:

thanks, lets hope it stays this way. I consider myself lucky to have an MOS (job) that requires a computer to complete. (If anyone knows how to run Voice over IP without a server, plz PM me and tell me, I am dying to know). A distant friend mentioned skiing to me a couple weeks ago, and reminded me how much I used to love it. Since then, I have been intensley searching for anything and everything skiing related (and i stumbled upon this site)

I can tell you guys are passionitley into what you do (I think you'd have to be if you wear your skiboots to bed and dressup in full ski gear in august), and its motivating! I can't wait to hit the slopes when I get back

Good job!! Keep the faith!!! And you head down...

When my brother was over there(An airforce Colonel responsible for air evacs out of Iraq)... i sent him a bunch of Warren Miller and other ski DVDs... He and his crew watched the vids in the middle of the desert in 100+ degree heat...

I'm proud of his servce... I'm also proud of his wifes service in Afgahnistan as well...

I have to combat flags on my wall..

The vert in Iraq leaves a lot to be desired (unless you're up north I guess).

I was there for a month three years ago. Best job-related thing I ever did.

Keep the Kevlar close pal!

Try using SkyPE for phone calls... I use it all the time...

I've used that before, it wouldn't work here though. That still uses a server though.

Yes, I'm a skiier (and a crappy snowboarder) from New England. I normally ski in Vermont, in my opinion thats where the best resorts are. I had heard you guys talk about this place called Mad River Glen, I have never been there but I am going to make it a point to go when I get back.

Exactly why I offered up a six-pack in the form of emoticons. Probably not as good as the real thing...
