Looking for a Volkl connoisoir...

....to give me some info on these skis. As you can see they are a sporty red color with stealthy black Marker bindings. Measure out to be just over 190 cm and ~95/65/85 (dimensions are pretty close to a pair of modern K2 or Dynastar bump skis). My mom found them free on the side of the road.

I'm hoping they will improve my carving skills.

These have more in common with an older straight ski than a newer carving ski. Since they are free, you will get your moneys worth.

My wife had those in blue. Cutting edge late 90's. A few years back an old timer (80's) leaned over the chairlift bar and said to her "last time I saw skis that old they were hanging over a fireplace".

Priceless, she got new skis shortly after that. I think her Mom is rocking the Volkl Carvers now.
