What's the call this week? Where do you plan on riding? I never ride weekends so this works out for me, bring on the snow!

The question is, when is the storm going to hit? From what I've seen it looks like Friday may be the better day as the storm looks like it'll be hitting during the day friday. Any thoughts?

Also, the forecast I saw looks like NH is going to get hit harder than VT. How has Sunapee been lately? They may get a good dump from this and if they have a decent base, that may be the place to be...

Unfortunately in my case I actually am sick. Was supposed to drive up to VT. this morning but postponed it because I got sick Sun. night. Was sick as a dog all day yesterday (coughing & fever) & still not feeling good today. Coughing subsided but still running a fever & feel weak. My neck, shoulders & stomach are actually sore from coughing so much. Hope to feel better later so I can drive up tomorrow morning before the storm. If not I'm out.

It sounds like the B word might be in affect for Thursday. It sounds like Friday might be the better day since it might be starting during the day Thurs?

Have you been to Sunapee, C-Rex? It's really an intermediate mountain with a pitch similar to Mt. Snow. It doesn't seem like it would be a great place to spend a powder day to me (flame away you Sunapee homers! ;) ). I will probably ski at Pats. It's small, but the top of the mountain is steep enough for fun powder skiing!

I'm dumb, what's the B-word? I'm thinking Friday too, but my friends can only get Thursday off. Then again, there are no friends on powder days...

I have been to Sunapee a bunch of times and I agree, but they also have a couple great glades and the drive is only like 2-2.5 hours. I'm open to suggestions. CSC discount is for Loon/Waterville Valley. Longer drive, but is it worth it? Of course, I'm totally cool with heading up to Magic again. That place is super fun.

Scotty suggesting Platty in 3, 2, 1...

Blizzard! Probable wind holds...

I would bet that magic would be one of the best places to be. I'm not a Loon hater, but I'm not sure that I would go that far if I were you (coming from CT).

Magic never gets wind holds. All the tree shots I have been shown have me psyched for a storm like that. All those ravines and stream beds could be a dream!
