Sweet. We plan to hit Mohawk at least once this season. But seeing this makes me wonder what Sundown is up to....

Mohawk has Sundown beat in altitude by about 500' which might give them a slight edge. A couple degrees might make all the difference when conditions are marginal. I wonder if Sundown made any snow the past few nights...

Got two of my own...

Actually, Saturday will probably consist of a lot of beer drinking with my brother-in-law.

The guns have been on at Sundown. Official opening date is Dec 1 this year, ALTHOUGH, there is the possability of being open this Friday or Saturday, (Nov 23, 24.) Sustained cold could make this happen!

Not exactly. The guns were on for a brief ~4 hour period last Friday night. They haven't had good enough temps to make any snow since then so not much progress was made at all. According to the forecast, the next best chance is sometime this Friday night so they will definitely not be open this weekend. I think an opening before 12/1 is somewhat unlikely at this point.

Seeing as they're not opening this weekend there's little chance that they'd open up during the week next week. I'd guess the earliest they'd open would be the 30th (possibly just at night), there might be some value to being able to say they opened in Nov this year. ;)
