Resort or Ski Area: Mohawk Mtn

Conditions: At the base around 1/4inch halfway up about 1.5

Trip Report: When I figured I should take full advantage of this new snow and since I couldn't get tomorrow off I went out tonight. I arrived at the base just after 9 and parked by the ski patrol building. There was only about 1/4inch at the base but since I was there I had to ski it. I hiked up pine to the top of the deer run trail. The snow wasn't getting any deeper so I decided that was far enough. I made one descent down pine and with the long grass it was tough to make my may down. I was able to get going, but I was way in the back seat. In high sight I should have hiked over to the mohawk trail were it is a little steeper, but oh well. Overall it was worth it, i just wish the grass was shorter and of course there was more snow. And if anyone decided to ski there tomorrow and finds a led flash light, that's mine(good thing I brought two)

Great report. A+. That is one of the strangest picture reports I've every seen (I love it!) We have to trust that you actually skied it. Did you hit any "things that go bump in the night?" Could you actually see where you were going?

thanks guys, it was all worth it. I have a three videos of me actually skiing ill see if I can get them up later. I didn't see any wildlife but heard stuff off in the distance. I hiked up with no lights but had to get one out to put my boots on and it messed my eye adjustment up so I skied down with a light in one hand lighting the way. I planed on using my led light on my hat but I dropped it somewhere while I was booting up.
