We have nothing yet. It is blowing hard and cloudy as can be. It smells like snow.

I'll give you a better update after my wife gets home driving from Denver. She will be going thru Eisenhower (11K ft) and then Independence Pass (12K ft.) she should be able to give the good info.

When this storm gets to the VT NH area it should be snow or lets hope for you all!

..SNOW ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM MDT FRIDAY..

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SALT LAKE CITY HAS ISSUED A SNOW
ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM MDT FRIDAY.

THIS ADVISORY IS FOR THE NORTHERN UTAH MOUNTAINS...INCLUDING THE
WASATCH AND WESTERN UINTA RANGES AS WELL AS THE WASATCH PLATEAU.

TOTAL SNOWFALL BY FRIDAY AFTERNOON IS EXPECTED TO RANGE FROM 7 TO
15 INCHES...WITH LOCALLY GREATER AMOUNTS POSSIBLE ABOVE 9000 FEET.
THE MAJORITY OF THIS ACCUMULATION WILL BE ABOVE 7000 FEET ALTHOUGH
AMOUNTS UP TO 4 INCHES COULD FALL AS LOW AS 5500 FEET ON FRIDAY.

SNOW WILL DEVELOP ABOVE ABOUT 7000 FEET IN THE FAR NORTHERN
MOUNTAINS EARLY THIS MORNING AND SPREAD SOUTHWARD TO AROUND
SOLDIER SUMMIT BY LATE IN THE DAY. SNOWFALL INTENSITIES WILL PICK
UP IN THE NORTHERN MOUNTAINS TONIGHT AND SNOW LEVELS WILL LOWER TO
NEAR 5500 FEET. SNOW WILL ALSO SPREAD INTO THE SOUTHERN MOUNTAINS
BY DAYBREAK FRIDAY AND THIS ADVISORY MAY NEED TO BE EXPANDED.

SNOW WILL TURN SHOWERY DURING THE DAY FRIDAY THEN WILL TAPER OFF
BY LATE AFTERNOON.

Is the west really starting winter this early? This forcast is so ho-hum out there- here it would be New York Times headlines. Too bad I could never live in Utah.

So the report is we got 3-4 wet inches of snow in town over night. Very beautiful to see the slopes with snow on them. My wife said the drive up from Denver last night was horrible. Freemont pass was covered as well as the top of Independence and now more snow tonight.

i would post a pic but I can't figure out how to resize it, if anyone can help, I will post the pic.

it is amazing. Sometimes when you come out of that tunnel going west you get crushed. Sunny on the East side and a Blizzard on the west. My wife said it was 75 in denver when she left yesterday. and well YOU surely know what she went through last night.
