Bear Creek Club on a Powder Day.

I've been once as a guest . . . . and hit untracked powder on Sunday afternoon on every run.

I didn't get a day at Gore last season for the first time in 15 years. I'll try not to let that happen again this season.

I haven't been there since I stopped working there in 2001. On powder days, it was awesome. No one there, take your time, enjoy the untracked, run after run. A little short on vertical, but with snow and the place to yourself, so what!

For me, I can only get to Saddleback once or twice a season. I always look forward to it.

Will I make it to all of those places this year? Probably not, but I'd like to..

This year's version of this thread. What ski area have you visited only one other time, or haven't been to in a number of years, but plan to revisit this season?

I would like to get back to Gore when the conditions are better this year. A revisit to Sunapee is also not out of the question as I hear they have some decent bumps.

Hands down, any ski area which has changed hands, Mount Snow and Attitash namely. :)

Sugarbush. Only been once, and never to LP. If I only make one VT trip this year, it will either be to the Bush, or a first time to Burke or Smuggs.

On the other hand, several friends are getting Ski Maine packs, so return trips to Saddleback and Shawnee may be more likely.

Cannon - very excited about

Waterville- marginally excited about unless a catch a good bump day on Bobby's

both places I haven't skied in over twenty years, but are definites for this winter.

So, I'm excited to ski them, but not too psyched about the fact that I've reached a point in life where I can say I haven't skied somewher in over twenty years

neither happened, though I did re-visit Sunapee for the first time in 20+ years - thanks powbmps

My list includes NM, CO, and UT for next season. Our ski club has all 3 on the list as potential trips. I'll definitely go back to Jhole, and I'm planning to hit Sno Mountain in PA as well.

Maybe I'll join your ski club...:beer:I'm only 50 minutes from KOP

Cool, Doesn't matter where you live, besides, unless yer a meetup whore, too, there's no need to travel except for pre-trip meetings, lol.:daffy:

Come on..I only want to join a ski club so I can throw around a frisbee with someone after looking at a slide show from Breckenridge..lol

Lincoln Peak..which is a legit 2400 vert..there is a runout so wax the skis up..

I know a lot of people feel this way, but I really don't see it. VH pod? No runout, unless you count Lower Mall below Twist. Heaven's Gate? No runout. CR? Not really until you leave it.

Top to Bottom at Lincoln Peak you can't avoid a runout. You either have a runout to get to the Spring Fling/Mall area or a runout at the bottom of Castlerock and Sugar Bravo..I think of Sugarbush as more stairstep terrain..while Stowe..at least on the quad side maintains it's pitch much longer. You need to add Stowe to your list..for real..
