I have the 5x7 pass, so I got to the mountain at 3:30pm. I bought the Unlimited Lesson Pass for myself and my wife. I don't know if it's been discussed on this forum before, but that pass is the greatest deal around. For $99 each, we get unlimited lessons for the entire season. Our lesson started at 4pm, and we were the only advanced skiers, so we had an instructor all to ourselves. It was supposed to last 1 1/2 hours, but ended up being 2 hours long. We started up the Cab and skied over the Granite Peak to avoid some of the crowds. We skied Devil's Bit twice, once on each side of the trail. It was mostly skied off to the sides as we expected, but the edges had plenty of snow to carve down. We crossed over to Vernon Peak and went down Zero G for the final run of the lesson. We decided to have one more run before getting some food so we went down the Eagles. After eating we went up and skied down Great Northern under the guns were we found the best snow of the night. We spent the rest of the night there skiing in freshies (sure they were man-made, in Jersey you take what you can get).

All in all a very good day on the hill. Devil's Bit was in great shape and they were blowing the hell out of Pipeline. The instructor said that should be open by next weekend. Great Northern under the guns was a pleasant surprise.
