I once worked as a bus trip chaperone for an outfit out of NYC. Free skiing but it was nowhere near worth the hassle and effort. And yes we did got to Hunter a few times - no we did not bring our own instructors.

I am contemplating moving to ski country for a winter or 3 in retirement and will most likely need to supplement my income. I have no desire to be an instructor and would suck at it anyway. I think I will aspire to become a part-time shuttle bus driver...."Next stop parking lot 3, that's parking lot 3."

Have considered but nah. I already did time working at an outdoor retailer which already gave me benefits (shop privileges at many hills) and discounts and I didn't have to move to the boondocks (not saying that I wouldn't mind!).

Don't know if I could do the on the hill thing, but maybe something like a haberdasher, or maybe like a chapeau shop or something. you know, like "What size do you wear, sir?"
