Sugarbush/Lincoln Peak on Sunday.

Great day yesterday at Sugarbush. Got a chance to ski with billski and give him a tour of my home mountain. He lucked out - his maiden voyage on Middle Earth featured super soft bumps and 10 inches of fresh snow.

I was wondering the same thing, but kinda don't want to know at the same time...

All dense snow - we never got the crusty / icy layer that I heard about father south.

Just back from MRG - OOOH LA LA! Conditions identical to the Bush all over the place. Flirted with cloud cover most of the day.

Props to WWF-VT for a mighty fine tour; gave me a ,much better appreciation for the mountain(s) and how to ski them. Almost never a line. WWF-VT is one hell of a skier and an outstanding guide. sign him up now before he gets an agent!

p.s., another late start, an hour's conversation with Betsy Pratt original owner of MRG, and the one who instituted the snowboard ban. The woman is in her 80's and has more vigor and vitality than I do. She is an institution in the MRV. She was going skiing this morning, after a stop at the ski shop to look for new bindings! eeek!
