Re: Driving home from my Whiteface, uh....um.....experience....

....yesterday I came through Tupper Lake, and from the North I could see the snow covered slopes of Big Tupper, now defunct. Drove up for a look see. Gate closed with "No Trespassing" sign. Snowcats and lodges and outbuildings just sat there. Kind of sad. Nice little hill, actually, with some great little tree shots and all kinds of potential...

Did you happen to get any pictures? I'd like to see that area.

If this topic is an endorsement for NELSAP and Jeremy Davis, then I want to chip in.

NELSAP is a great site. Preserving the history of Lost New England Ski Areas. As well Lost NY, NJ, PA,.....and sometimes even CA ski areas .

Don't forget about that feature article about Jeremy and NELSAP in last month's SKI magazine.

I hear the people over there are almost as intelligent and good looking as we are.
