I really hope the show talks about the Skiers Responsibility Code and Smartstyle..it's important!!!! I get whistled at for hauling ass down an empty slow skiing trail but there are people picnicing in the landings of the terrain park with no warning at all....Chikkady Check Yourself before your Wreck Yourself...

Ski Patrol starts October 20th at 8pm on TruTv (formerly Court TV). The first two episodes will feature Crystal Mt, out in Washington state. The Blue Mountain episodes are being saved for November, during Sweeps Weeks. Turner Broadcasting, the parent company thinks it will enhance TruTv doing it that way. If you didn't make it on the show this year, the higher the ratings, the better the chance they will come back for this season. So spread the word!

hahaha! from the site....

"Blue Mountain

Climbing to a height of 1,082 feet, Blue Mountain is the highest vertical ski slope in Pennsylvania. Its three terrain parks include a snowcross trail and a 350-foot halfpipe. The slopes feature 33 trails for all abilities spread out over 155 beautiful acres, with the longest run spanning 6,400 feet. The trails, which are lit for evening fun, can be accessed via nine lifts, including the only detachable, high-speed ski-pack lift in the region. Blue Mountain is also home to an immense snow-tubing park. And the park's extensive snow-making and grooming ensure perfect conditions on every slope."

They're perfect when they were filming! They fluffed up Challenge and Razor when I was up there midweek while filming. I'll be looking for my unintended cameos on Challenge, in the locker area and driving past the EMT truck at the lodge front door unless they ended up on the editing floor. :daffy:

Turner has started putting SKI PATROL ads all over thier networks, especially TruTv. Also TruTv has listed and put links up to the show on its website. The ads are high intensity, and makes the show look extra cool!

I saw it . . .

Remembered why I didn't want to be a patroller . . . Blood, Heli-vacs, and possible spinal injuries are not my bag . . . baby.

Like all mountains, some of the patrollers SUCK at skiing, too . . . But there was the requisite Tele guy who appeared to rip pretty well . . .

I did not see the blu guys. It was interesting. I dont think ski patrol really hot dogs as much as they did getting to accidents. I also thought it was setting a bad example not wearing helmets. Its about skiing so I had to watch it but truth be told I really dont like watching the injuries. Kinda is a buzz kill

Blue episodes start in 3 weeks and FYI alot of ski patrollers don't wear helmets..I think helmets should be required by all..
