-15 when i got in my truck today. Huge bright sun. It easy to understand how whiteface gots it name when you look at it on a day like today.

The guns have to be roaring. Not much wind. It is EPIC snowmaking weather. :-D

it warmed up last night - woke up to -10 and a gentle NW breeze, currently a balmy 3 out, the hills are white and the sunrise was gorgeous


we still have contests on drinking nights when its -30 or better to see who can stand outside without a coat for the longest - I would highly recommend a good functioning wood stove for that game though - it is always eerie calm on the coldest nights - they are beautiful like good summer nights and appreciated in our home

i did get a few comments in the grocery store...short, flip flops and a sweatshirt....was warm in the house..didnt want to change to go grab a gallon of milk..

I was at Ragged yesterday. It was friggin cold. Really friggin cold.


But I skied. Quit at 1 more out of boredom than cold. They need to get more terrain going.

Interesting. At Cranmore it was 9F, but the sun was out (the mt is south facing more or less) and there was zero wind.
