We saw a new landslide on Hor last weekend, but this must have been a sight to see! Luckily nobody was hurt.

It's that time of year for slides. Long hot spells followed by quick heavy rainfull is the recipe for slides. If this heat wave continues for awhile and it stays dry, it's quite possible that more will occur.

Hopefully this will work, but HERE is a pic of the landslide from the distance. Can't see too much, but the cloud of dust is something...kind of eerie.

there was another pic in the wreck today showing two HUGE boulders weighing in at a couple of tons. looked about 4-5 feet tall based on the person standing in the picture. one of the boulders landed in the middle of the north bound lane, whoa! glad i wasn't on 5a saturday!
