Favorite weekend of the year. StrangeCreek Music Festival at Camp Kewanee in Greenfield, Mass. 3 nights of camping, 50+ bands on 4 stages from 11AM until 5AM, not too crazy big with only 4Kish people, 30+ friends in our crew. Can't beat it. Not only is it the best 3 day party going, but the revenue it generates funds the kids camps for the summer. Best $75 I spend every year.

Launching the boat into LI sound Saturday, driving up to Boston Sunday/Monday to do some work on the condo before putting it on the market.

Sadly, probably- if we sell the condo, then the tax benefit of being an MA resident with primary residence doesn't matter so much anymore.

I'm sorry to hear that... I'm sure there's some upside to being a CT resident, I'm just not sure what it is yet. ;)

What tax benefits could Massachusetts possibly offer? Or is Connecticut really high?

We own in MA, rent in CT. The interest deduction is nice, so we keep MA residency.
I'm sure car insurance will be much cheaper, but CT license plates are ugly.

I'm not saying it's like living in NH, but are taxes in MA really all that bad?

Maiden voyage with the new to us pop-up camper this weekend...should be fun if I survive the towing experience.

Going to Maine. Hanging at my buddies house. Bonfires, bbq, and drinking are on the schedule. Might even get out for some hiking and biking.

I drove through Boston on the Central Artery at 60 mph at 7pm on Friday night. From Killington to Dartmouth, Ma, I drove speed limit + 8 the whole way.

My local businesses are in the money this weekend without me sticking around and I have to travel to see my family. I am heading down to MA to escape the crowds this weekend! :D That is not true at all. Even on vacation weekends, it is still less crowded around here than Boston metro any day of the week.

Kidding aside, tomorrow will be a ride around Squam. Not sure about Sunday, ride somewhere in the 30-40 range. Maybe a Wentworth out and back on R25. Heading down to MA Monday morning to see the family. Then driving back north when everyone else is driving back south. Just like today, we drove down to the "big city" (Manchester, ha!) for city slicker stuff like shopping when I-93 north was stop and go through Concord. Smooth sailing on the way back north after we finished shopping.

I'm almost always working on holiday weekends, as I am this weekend. I like going places on weekdays better anyway, no crowds.
