My first adult clinic session at Pats Peak today. I am the only in my class. I told my instructor I wanted to learn to ride the bumps on Hurricane. Good thing the snow was soft today as I took some falls I haven't taken in a long time. I did several air 360's leaving an impressive indentations in the soft snow using my back. After several of these I told the instructor I wanted to learn to ride in the bumps not do park tricks. I am so sore right now. He did say I did hit a "few" correctly. The "show" must have been entertaining as seen from the lift. Then he "forced" me to ride switch which I haven't done in a long time which resulted in more close examination of snow crystalline structure. But I asked for it. I will be back at it next week. I need to be ready for Sugarbush.
So are you going to take a lesson or just give it a go on your own? Where at ..Pats? If there, ask for Ruben or Papa Joe if your trying the board on the weekend. Now if you give me the time and place I can bring some popcorn and find a good place to watch...:-D
what a trooooooper! keep it up. Nothing like having a versatile set of ski skills.
