Am I being too picky, or is it a little disingenuous for Pico to say they have all 52 trails open when in fact you'd have take your skies off and hike to about 10 of them because the lifts servicing those trails are closed?

I'm not talking about wind holds, either. I'm talking about two lifts (Outpost Double and Knomes Knoll Triple) that it seems Pico has no intention of EVER running again. Maybe they should just sell them to a slope that will actually use them before they rust away completely.

The Outpost Double is scheduled to run tomorrow.

This for a guy who regularly earns his turns. Gonna do some cross country tomorrow myself. But when I pay for lift ticket access, I feel I can expect access, especially with what they charge these days.
I don't suppose you have ever been to Pico? The Outpost is 2-3 minutes tops of poling and herringbone. Snow is great over there when the lift isn't running. It is a great little area and the area skis a lot better without the lift running, IMO. It is not like you even need to take your skis off...

You probably wouldn't appreciate the top of MRG's single chair.

Once K completes the interconnect I'm positive that all the trails will be open and the lifts spinning every day at Pico so you'll all be happy.

if they dont open all the trails and lifts at K every day what makes you think they would at pico? I'm sure it would get some more love than now, but all trails and lifts I doubt.
