What does everyone have going on for this weekend? I'm pretty low-key, since I am heading to South Carolina on Monday for a 2 week trip with my in laws. Do some golfing, go to the beach, pretty much just get some much needed R&R.

Maybe a cookout or something in the cards!

Off Thursday through Monday.

Heading up Thursday night to my wife's father's camp on Kingswood lake. And when I say camp, I mean real camp. Completely rustic with just electricity, running water only from the lake and an outhouse. Might have some friends over there for a cookout one night, but will pretty much just be us.

Decent size lake, no public boat access, so very quiet. just gonna swim and relax.

July 4th itself we may catch some fireworks locally.

The grandparents are taking the kids down to the beach in RI starting on Wednesday. Work closes early on Friday and I'm going to party that night. Head down to the RI beach house once I recover for the rest of the weekend.

Friday: skiing at Snowbird! :daffy:

Other than that, may go up to Logan to meet some new friends, BBQ, get settled, etc.

For the first time in years a whole lot of nothing.

Staying local, having some friends over with their kids for a BBQ and camp out in the back yard on Sunday.

Looking forward to a relaxing weekend of good beer, great food, and even better friends.

So far the weather is looking good. June is over (hooray). Its been a busy month with several birthdays, graduations and various other events. (June and December tend to be about the two busiest months that way) Things figure to calm down a bit now till mid August when it really ramps up with college and high school activities. Time to get on to the water. Fireworks on the lake are Friday night and we will be looking forward to some red neck yacht clubbing, water skiing and some tennis as long as the weather holds.

Cutting wood and cleaning up brush. Guy started today to take down a three foot around maple that hangs over the house and the back yard. It is close to being dead and many branches have started to fall. This is going to be a f%#&ing mess but has to be done. Oh well it will add to the firewood pile!

I put a brush cutter on the weed wacker today and cleared several hundred square feet of tall weeds out by the road. <yahoo>

May try to get a hike in...been thinking about doing the Welch-Dickey loop for some time but I'm not sure I want to drive too far. Could also explore some part of the Wapack trail since it's closer to home.

Other than that I may work on replacing some plastic edging in the back yard that needs to go. Depends on how much I feel like working in the sun (which usually isn't that much).
