i googled and found little without spending hours and hours.
i want the smallest skis/shiblades/skiboards/whatever possible for about a size 11 mens boot. i'm 5'8" 155ish, so no links to kid's stuff/almost novelty toys like i was finding.

don't persuade me to get bigger skis, cause i used them about 20X, and last time borrowed 88cm skiboards and it was a world of difference how much more controll i had. i could grind and hit jumps and not have a giant ski in the way that needs to bend most of the time and makes things so much harder. all i lose out on is speed, but if i just don't carve, i'll soon go way faster than i'll ever want to.
thank you

At 88 cm you want a snowblade. I'm assuming you will spend your time on hardpack/groomers. Can't recommend a specific one, but a lot of manufacturers are out there, and they seem to fit on boots up to size 12. I'm old school, so I'd go with name brands like K2 and Salomon, but that's nothing against the small shops like 5th and others. Just make sure you get a good set of bindings.

IMHO it sounds like your problem is with your use/misuse of balance = speed-control...and overall skiing technique...Not from the wrong length of ski. Once you go beyond a short length...a ski will offer up no forgiveness as far as responding to one's proper or improper balance.

I don't think they make Snowblades with anything other than the fixed bindings that come on it. I mean they don't make a "flat" ski.

Dude,

The PASR guys who were giving you shit for for your love of snowlerblades are all some pretty talented skiers who are just trying to pass their expertise on to you. If you're "fighting the mountain" (your term) you're not carving.
