It wasnt too bad. I was insanely busy and wasnt able to make it to Platty, so I went to Shawnee instead. Conditions were decent by Pocono standards, their steeper terrain was a bit icy, but all-in-all I wouldnt complain too much.

Nice to see some love for Shawnee. Live 10 minutes from there ski it all the time. Can't beat it for weekends. There was nobody there on Saturday.Sunday was a different deal. Filled up quick and got skied off quick. Sides were still sweet, you had to look for it.All in all a nice weekend. Weather Sunday was sweet and the place gets great sun this time of year.

Have skied MC over the last 15 years and have just become tired of how it has grown. I live 15 mins from the lot, would buy a season midweek all day which was also good after 3pm on weekends. You can't ski there on weekends during the day unless you like putting you and your family at risk..I'ts like sking on broadway in the city. During the week it was ok but on weekends no way. My little one trying to learn on a green would be blown by closely on either side by insane weekend bombers to the the point I had to ride shotgun behind her with my poles out. She almost got to the point of not wanting to ski again. It even has gotten worse at south where they turned it into a park and there is mostly drunk or high punks with no idea of a downhill skier's rights. It's become a joke. I skied Hidden Valley this weekend and it was much safer (less of a crowd) and better tude all the way around. I was online with a guy for a lift ticket who said he came here after passing Creek and all the lots, even the lower ones, that most of the time don't get full were packed.I would rather go to Bellayre 2 hours away than ever go back to Creek. It would have to be a free pass and midweek. Plus the walk from the lot is a joke.

well it's not that them punks have no idea, they just don't care about knocking people over. poor little ones get knocked around like pinballs.
