Ahh well,

I worked there in High School.. 85 - 89.. remember the 3am weekends and then the 1am weekends.. 10$ Sunday nights 6-10..

My pal and I used to get the most comp tickets each year.. basically work and/or skied almost daily...

Wicked memories.. that place still owes me a fractured wrist and busted hip !

Powder Ridge Rats.. rofl.. omg.. what a gay ass nick name for high schoolers... lol

Ahh, the ol' 10pm-3am shift at Powder Bump (circa 1980...proudly sponsored by Mr. Boston brandy). Actually it would thin out after midnight. The human carnage was staggering. Way too many stories to tell.

Mr Boston Blackberry Brandy? I remember carrying some of that in my deer skin "boda bag" in my "Toronado Red CB Apollo" non waterproof down ski jacket. One day I took a fall and that baby sprung a leak in my coat and I had this large brown stain show up from the inside out.

By 86 the drink of choice for night skiing at PR was Peachtree & Strawberry Schnapps. Makes my head hurt thinking back to it...

It would be nice if the town could use the grant and clean the place up. It would make a nice park.
