1. Asking for help, unless your 3 yrs old is a no no

"All skiers pride themselves on their individuality and ability to maintain control at all
times"

2. Whining in any form

"The sport of skiing was invented because "Non Whiners" ie adventurers decided to
get and have fun, toughen up"

3. Having never taken lessons

"Even an expert can benefit from lessons from really good instructor as styles of
skiing change/evolve. Instructors also teach Mtn awareness which is critical"

4. Skiing beyond one's ability

"Their are reasons why cats get stuck in trees"

5. Failing to appreciate the sport and know it's history!

"If you study the sport you will know that many have skied before you and many will
after and that it's part ones responsibility to cultivate the sport, share it with others,
encourage others to try it, give back, cause thats what keeps the lifts turning around"

Bonus: Ski snobbery

"It is indeed snobbery to consider the quality of ones outfit to outrank in importance one's
skiing ability. It is but the greatest offence to look down on a fellow skier based on holes in
their gloves or duct tape on a pant leg. Far greater in abhorence are those skiers who
abandon the Mtn and leave for home before 11:OO Am on weekends for they exude a
repugnant selfishness that is far from the heart of the sport"

Only have an issue with #4.

If you never ski above your ability your ability will never increase...

I have an issue with 1....

It'd be much better if people asked for help getting around mountains and such, rather than winding up on trails they can't handle.
