I think relatable ski porn is more about the spirit and presentation of the subject than the subject itself. While I am not a park or tricks fan... I have seen some segments that I really enjoyed. The youthful energy with the in your face camera shots and modern hip hop crossover sound track does nothing for me. But the Meats building a kicker on the side of the road is cool even if I don't get into that sort of thing. Same thing with big mountain lines. Warren Miller is a complete yawn fest but give some backcountry approach, some insight into the minds of the riders, a chill comtempative sound track, and a soulful descent and I am game. Balls to the wall is okay too but I can't relate to that in your face line with the back flip thing. Cool to watch but gets old fast. A slightly slow motion powdery descent through the trees with a chill sound track and contemplative commentary never gets old.
