I'm trying to decide where to ski midweek next week. Is there a quick list somewhere showing operating/closing dates for VT and Maine?

from an email from Okemo:
This Sunday, April 12th will be our final day of skiing and riding for the 2008/2009 season....
yeah, I'm thinking about a longhaul trip like Jay or Loaffwiw billski,
If you're into the early-early-AM, or should I say late-night drive/haul up...Loaf temps should still be pretty good. Haven't had anything major...as far as melting, since the light rain of last week. Couldn't have got up to 40s...here in Bangor it never reached 50...at anytime.

Rarely hits 50 in July there let alone April!
They'll probably close with 65% of the terrain still covered! Too bad it;s so far from anywhere or they would have the ideal late season set up.
Sunday River and Sugarloaf will still be going. I would expect operations to be down sized though.
More lifts and runs than K, but not sure about other VT areas.
My guess is Barker, Spruce, South ridge and the North peak via the Chondola . Not sure about the tempest lift at SR.
Hope that helps.
