I'm trying to decide where to ski midweek next week. Is there a quick list somewhere showing operating/closing dates for VT and Maine?

Sunday River and Sugarloaf will still be going. I would expect operations to be down sized though.

More lifts and runs than K, but not sure about other VT areas.

My guess is Barker, Spruce, South ridge and the North peak via the Chondola . Not sure about the tempest lift at SR.

Hope that helps.

Use the SnoCountry.com snow reports. They list who is doing what (either "reopening" or "closed for snowsports.")

Same for Stratton. Mt Snow will play it by ear after this weekend, and may only open on the weekends.

temps up here still good....

fwiw billski,
If you're into the early-early-AM, or should I say late-night drive/haul up...Loaf temps should still be pretty good. Haven't had anything major...as far as melting, since the light rain of last week. Couldn't have got up to 40s...here in Bangor it never reached 50...at anytime.

Saddleback notes Sunday april 12th is closing day

They'll probably close with 65% of the terrain still covered! Too bad it;s so far from anywhere or they would have the ideal late season set up.

They have almost 95% open now and light snow is in the forecast every day thru Sunday. I'll be closing down the ski season up there this weekend...

Looks like I'll be skiing Killington until May 2nd. If it's sunny, I'll likely be part of the Killington Refugee pack that drives up to Sugarbush on Sunday May 3rd if Win Smith can connect the dots by moving snow to provide at least Steins & Spring Fling.

Stowe, posted April 12:
Today is the last day of operations for the gondola and Sunny Spruce lifts. Late season rates are in effect and Stowe is open until April 19th, conditions permitting.

Sorry Bob but the plan is only to run lifts #1- Barker, #2 South Ridge Quad, and #8 Spruce Triple. Lift #7 the Chondi isn't scheduled to turn after today

#9 and maybe #10 may run next weekend 11-2 for the pass holders BBQ.

Wildcat was sweet yesterday, also heard the Loaf is in excellent shape. More skiable terrain in northern NH + ME. K-ton crowd came our way last night looking for more trails, more lifts, and much less crowds.

Wouldn't be surprised to see the Loaf push further if Jay meets it's goal.
