Trip Report: Great evening at Shawnee with some co-workers. The snow was edgeable and super fast. The ungroomed stuff on the side of the trails was pretty hard and icy, but the groomed trails were super fantastic. Only Jack Spratt really had any iciness to it, and even that was not too bad.
Lift lines were non-existent, and the weather was perfect. 20's and very light wind.
Took a major wipe out on a jump off Jack Spratt. It was steeper than I thought! When you see your ski tips in front of your nose and the height of the jump - that is not a good thing... for me anyway. Lots of Advil today. I need to remember my age...
