Should be lots of choices this weekend

With the cold weather in the forecast a good amount of ski areas should open this weekend and stay open. The season is starting!! :beer:

Yeah, relatively warm until early Thursday. Hoping Jiminy can open up for the weekend. They were planning on it last week...

We're planning on being at Waterville Saturday. Their site still says Opening Day is November 19th.

I find that very hard to believe....

They have been making snow at Waterville. They open high country only takes a couple of nights up there. I may pop in sunday on my way home to break up the ride.

70 degrees. I want to reach into the TV and slap the grinning newspeople praising their forecaster for such perfect weather. It's torture. Period. Not so much that there's no skiing now, but the prospect is further off than I'd like at this juncture.


I'm planning on Dec. 3 and not getting excited about anything earlier than that for now.

I think most of Places in the skills and Mass will fire up the guns Wed Night. Some people have said Killington was blowing snow Sat night.
