I'm seeing a LOT of help wanted ads on Facebook this year. Did something happen with the H1B visas?

I think the larger issue is that something has happened with the economy. I've found the labor market to be getting increasingly strong. In my industry the recruiters are out in force, and large pay raises have returned. Unemployment rates are getting remarkably low. Vermont 3.7%, New Hampshire 3.4%.

Perhaps a season minimum wage job is no longer attractive.

Yuck Yuck! But on FB? First I've seen it, and I troll FB for all resorts religiously!

Might as well try and market via a medium where the reality is a large percentage of their target demographic is using, let alone that it can be far more cost effective than more traditional print media these days

It's also free. Why wouldn't a ski area use Facebook to let potential employees know how to start the process of becoming an employee. Seems like a win-win.
