Killington, but I've got so man others on my list I may end up not getting there this year for once. Which will be bizarre.

Possibly Killington, I'm making my first trip to Sugarbush on the 23rd. I have all week off, so if my son is up to it, we may hit some other places in VT. He's never been to Kmart, I was about ten years ago, always wanted to go back, on a weekday. Another possibility is Jay, I hadn't been there in ten years, went last May, boy what a change over those ten years. He's never been there, and with the two trails that were open in May, I feel like I really haven't been back either.

This is the only time I regret that my son switched from skis to snowboard. I'd love to hit MRG, especially since we'll be right next door at Sugarbush, I've never been, some other time, I hope.

Except for Hunter, every area I visit this year should be a new one to cross off the list (Jay, Bretton, Sunday River, Whiteface, Gore, and hopefully CO).

Plan to revisit Gore and Whiteface It has been 10-12 years since I was at Gore and 6 years since I was last at Whiteface.

Gore and Whiteface--11 years
Mount Snow--12 years: Where I really want to go is Haystack :(
Elk--12 years
Killington--18 years
And just for nostalgia, Ski Roundtop--18 years

Geez, time flies. Last year I made it back to Stowe, which I hadn't been to in 10 years. I'm curious to go back to Okemo now that the Jackson-Gore side is open, haven't been there in about 7 years.

keep the faith
#1) Jay Peak -- skiied there the end of the season last year, the Ridge was still open but the Tuck and Face chutes were closed.. so I gotta get up there in peak season this time

#2) Mad River Glen -- also skiied there last year -- I am waiting for both Fall Line and Paradise to be open because I will ski those 2 "trails" all day long

#3) Sugarbush -- expensive place to ski but it's worth it when everything is open. Castlerock is awesome. I would like to slay "Rumble" with more confidence than I did last time. Also Sugarbush trail "Paradise" (not to be confused with MRG's "Paradise" which is way more extreme) is one of the most beautiful <><> trails to ski in the northeast IMO

#4) Stowe -- have not been there in like 8 years. It's been too long and I want to climb up Mansfield and do some off-piste skiing up there

#5) Whiteface -- only skiied there once also like 8 years ago. I will only return when I am 100% sure that I can ski the Slides and spend all day doing that

#6) Berkshire East -- by far the most fun mountain in Mass to ski, except they are total slackers when it comes to making snow so you gotta wait for the natural

#7) Bolton Valley -- the MOST underrated mountain in the Northeast IMO. There are four trails that make this mountain totally awesome. One is called "The Preacher". The other is called "Devils Playground"... add to that list "Adams Solitude" and "Lost Boyz" and these are some of the most original glade / woods / narrow and steep style skiing in Vermont.
