Resort or Ski Area: Ski Bradford (MA)
Conditions: Snow all day long totaled ~8" powder when my sons and I got there at 7 p.m. Persistent light to occasionally moderate snow added about an inch by 10 p.m. closing. Light wind, moderate temps but the snow wasn't wet -- slight density, with packed base underneath except thick crust on some edges.
Trip Report: Feeder hill in Haverhill, Mass. Just 200' vert but wide -- plenty of ways down -- when I count the various edges there are easily a dozen distinct routes. The main trails are wide and most were pretty tracked out but edges and the small glades at the top of Wasp held plenty of stashes of boot deep. Long lines of untracked/very lightly tracked were found at far skier's right as the terrain park was not yet open and the lights were off but there were no ropes or signs saying it was closed SOOOOOOOOOOOO ... low light makes this blurry but you get the idea:
And this is far skier's left, edge of the top of the race trail on Wasp:
