Resort: Ski Butternut
Date Skied: 02/27/05
Conditions: 25 degrees , lots of sun, loose powder, granular over some scratchy surfaces
Trip Report:
We arrived at 12noon and skied to 4pm. By the looks of the parking lots we were expecting a mob. The first lift ride was on the Top Flight quad. Maybe a 3 minute wait. We did Upper Applejack / Lower Applejack as the first run. The conditions were more of a mix of granular and powder. We did a few runs off of the Top Flight and decided to head over to the Overbrook area. This is where we found the scratchy surfaces and the breeze!
After about 5 runs here we headed back to the TFQ and skied the rest of the day from the trails off of this lift. Overall it was a great day!
