Ski Councils - not all the same discounts

it has been posted here, and i believe people have been successful in taking advantage of it, that any mountain offering a ski council discount for the day honors all councils/clubs.

unfortunately that was not the case today. in the "this" weekend thread it was posted that there was discount @ Mt Snow today. I decided to give it a try for my son since i was getting a PeakPass. the woman at the ticket window was very nice but said i was not eligible. she explained that on their list for the day it was MASS, NY and PA ski council days and since i was a member of a CT club I was not eligible. i had to settle for the standing discount of group rate.

I may spring for a different (or additional) club membership next year for better coverage.

The discount for the CT ski clubs was at Sunapee today. The group rate though is still pretty good.
