Hi there everyone, am new to the site, and am not sure if this is the best place to post a thread about the SKI COACH (www.theskicoach.com).

I used to live in the North East (Just over the border) and have many fond memories of East Coast skiing. I now live out west in Vancouver. Anyway I wanted to share with you all a new training tool I came across at Whistler last season called the SKI COACH.

I consider myself to be a fairly decent skier so I was intrigued when our pro used it in his lesson. In a nutshell I have to say I think it is an extremely useful tool and would recommend it. The Ski School told me it was being widely used and I see from the website it has received many endorsements from teaching professionals all over.

I think it is great that there is a site dedicated to North East skiing and I will endeavour to check in regularly. Hope this information might be of use to some of you.

Boothby: we already got a ski coach here in the east........

It's called "boiler". With enough "boiler" we learn to use our "edges" and that is about all the coaching an eastern skier needs. So any time you need a bit of "coaching" come back east after a rainer, followed by a -20 F day and you should be back to edging effectively just fine.

Hey Roger may I suggest you take your same post as is and post it on the TGR Forum. I am sure the TGR forum will give you a warm welcome versus your cold welcome you are getting here. :smash:

Let me get this straight. You stap this thing on your back and when you ski bad its quiet and when you ski good it goes clunk clunk clunk. Maybe you want to turn that curved tube upside down. Quiet good. Clunk bad.
