Poma Line at Pico would be fun as well. It would add a "roller derby" element to the whole thing.
That's what I said a while back too
Definitely a triceps burner
For some reason I thought this was an alpine race, not a cross country race. My mistake.
Start at the trailhead of tux, first to hike up and ski down and make it back to the bottom wins
Apparently there's a mountaineering component now too:
Soon it's just going to be some good old-fashioned arm-to-arm wrestling.
Maybe I missed something, but a "ski off" isn't the same as a Chinese Downhill.
A ski off entails a bunch of people skiing a run in their own unique way and a panel of judges to determine the best skier. The best ski off runs in the east are the runs used in the Ski The East Freeride Tour (Face chutes at Jay, Liftline at MRG, etc.) you need a run where whoever is judging can see the whole run.
Rumor at Gore would be good. Slides at WF. The best place for a ski off, though, is Tuckerman Ravine.
No thanks.Only people in the ski-off can make up rules. You want in?

.......
So if I can make the rules count me in. To start with all you youngsters (Under 50) need to carry an extra 50 pounds with you.
More carving less skidding next time.I ski off trails all the time, whats the big deal?
