Resort or Ski Area: Ski Sundown

Conditions: Loose granular, firming up as the sun went down.

Trip Report: First let me say that I owe Pat a beer next time we're there. I confirmed with Chris Sullivan that they did indeed make one pass with the groomer up Nor'Easter to top off the bumps... He also re-confirmed that they will be re-seeding the exhibition bumps this week.

That said , the bumps are starting to reform a bit more now, though they could use some help. I hope that they plan on going in there and doing a little 'massaging' this week. It's still pretty much the same lines, which means there really isn't any consistent ones. The bumps were, however, nice and soft, very spring like day today. I was able to get somewhat of a line going in what's left to the far right line. The woods still looked as skiable as they've been so far. I took a very short excursion into the sundeck woods with no problems. I saw some fresh looking tracks heading into the woods at the top of Gunny too. I don't think the rain was very detrimental to the snow-pack for the most part.

I hope the above makes sense, I'm half asleep as I write this (I know pathetic at 9:50). It was a very long day at the hill, I just wish more of it was spent skiing instead of working. :(

Oh yeah, here's one pic of the bumps...

Thanks B. Hopefully as Nor'easter continues to soften, those bumps will set up a bit more. Also good to hear the snowpack in the woods survived. Now all we need is a foot of fresh and we can hit those....
