GSS- I've never seen a sundown patroller with a whistle- so you will most likley not be cited for any infractions, if that helps tempt you...

Puh-lease. Stop bucking the trend already, willya? You were really grooving on Gunny last weekend. Just accept your destiny and move on.
You guys are like a freakin' cult! You get Jeff out with you once and now he can't be stopped from going on the bumps! You converted Grassi entirely. It's no wonder why Marge has been avoiding you; she's trying not to be assimilated!

In all seriousness, I did have fun. But I'm at a stage where it isn't worth it if it isn't fun. I don't like speed, but I actually have sought out icy/firm groomers over piles of crud because I can predict better how to ski on it. (In fact, I did some of that the day I was skiing with you guys when I skipped the top bumps.) I don't mind skiing low-angle soft bumps, and yes, I'm actually completely bored with Canyon Run and the flats now  but I'm still holding out. :D

one thing i noticed to today was my nordicas aren't as fun as the gotamas. i don't know if it was the dimensions of the ski or the binding, but something felt off with the nordicas today. but i'm sure part of it was not skiing the for close to a month.
All that toughing it out on the Gotamas made you appreciate them more. I'm afraid the same thing will happen when I return to my Maries after skiing the Celebrities in the bumps the last 2 times I was out.

I'm kinda funnin' with ya. But yeah, ice bumps all the way. Bump addiction is a weird thing. It's amazing the crappy bumps you'll suffer through if you have it vs. skiing the flats. I really don't care how well or not I carve, at least not now. Like Grassi said, there's plenty of to/from the bumps to work on that.

Bad news for me as I bagged 2 hours of bumps this morning. Unfortunately I only had the window in the morning. It was just too cold and I just pictured a block of ice. I'm skiing Sat and Sun which are going to be warmer and softer. I am also going to ski alot next week (some vacation time). Mid winter I would have gone for it (and my lower back probably would have paid for it).

I should qualify this by saying that I did bag yesterday due to reports of firm bumps. Just had my fill of ice bumps this year and figured I'd save it for a warmer spring day.
