Just back from raking it new school at the old instituion!

quick visit for me today, goal was to get as comfortable as possible with the lower right kicker which was killing me last week when i was there.

Ran into Brownsville Brooklyn, MadRiverJack and MRJ's buddy Frank and skied a bit with them.

Early attempt on the lower right kicker were ugly. 1st time i simply landed on the flat part, 2nd time on the knuckle resulting in a double ejection & somersault finally coming to rest 20 feet down the hill. eventually i stopped falling. never quite "nailed it" but was able to get over without embrassing myself.

Had a funny moment.... know how they say when you get good and are in the zone that everything slows down? that happened to me.. i was skiing the middle section and realized that i wasn't doing too bad. felt like i was really getting it - hands in front, absorbing as best i can and moving along nice.. then it dawned on me. i wasn't really "in a zone" i was literally just skiing SLOW! LOL

anyway. good day out there. hot as hell.. i fall too much to go with shorts and a t-shirt but that is what the weather calls for.. Did see a few young ladies in shorts and there was a dude snowboarding without a shirt :puke: (not that he was in bad shape but who wants to see a topless guy snowboarding)

didn't realize it when i took the picture but this is a 19YO killington kid that Jack pointed out to me. He was ripping the bumps and it looks like he gets big air too!
