on there for the partying. That place makes Killington look like a church on Sunday. Skiing is boring, but no one leaves that place without having a blast........and a severe hangover. Seven Springs in PA often does well on these lists too for the same reason.

No. 1 is correct. Tremblant, the usual No. 1 took a beating. Also dismayed to see Sugarbush get no love. Canon and Wildcat won't make it because it's a resort-based thing I gather. Both make my Top 10 though easily.

And MRG (#6) is somehow a resort now? The rest of the list I agree with you on, but once you through MRG into the mix it's no longer a 'resort-based thing'.

I'll bet MRG was thrown in there as a sacrificial lamb so people wouldn't bitch so much.
then again, leaving out Sugarbush is a gaffe.

Perhaps 'bush never gave the writer a comp ticket??? :)
I've seen it happen before where the writer was under the gun for a print deadline, couldn't get to certain places and left them off the list.
