Everyone loves meeting and hanging out with like-minded people. Who doesn't love talking shop? I spent my entire flight to Oregon talking with a guy I had just met in our group. It's great to share stories and give/get advice about where to go and what to try next.

Not sure if this site cures my ski addiction or makes it worse. Probably the latter

My wife has used the addiction word. :-?
Great thread. I think of forums as sort of the cyber replacement for the old ski clubs which have died off in many places except New England. Really, we're all just 21st century pen pals. The interactive part, however, keeps a constant hook for new stoke/feedback. I tried to address some of this in a post about various forums on EpicSki a while back: https://www.google.com/url?q=http:/...sQFjAA&usg=AFQjCNFcQ0_R1qMjHFzlVURiI8PAlF7aVA

Good way to look at it! Stoke for sure! I find it even makes me want to push myself a little more and try things that I would otherwise not consider. Lot of good intel on runs and secret stashes (not so secret sometimes)!
