It was open last year. Skied it on St. Patrick's Day.

I used to have LRN2SKI and plastered each side of the plate were PSIA bumper stickers.

The Milton side is 617, but the Canton side which has the actual ski area is 781, so I guess they do. Damit!

This was mine a few years ago.... on my '88 Land Cruiser. That thing could really go ANYWHERE!

Bonus points for anyone who can figure out where this was taken.

For those who can't figure it out, it stands for MOUNTAIN RIDER (both myself and the vehicle), though some of my friends thought it was mount and ride her. Which I guess would still be applicable for snowboarding.

I still have the plate mounted on my wall. When I got rid of this rig, I got a truck and couldn't use the plate. Now I'm back to a non-truck (for now) so one day the MTN RYDR may return.

Maybe the state of NY would have been more tolerant of an expression of support for skiing one of its local mountains: 4SKINHNTR!
