Guy is an A Hole. I was reading on the icecoast subreddit the other day about him contacting someone's employer and attempting to get him fired saying this guy was harassing Matt online.

Even if he had the world's best powder day crystal ball, I'd never give a dime to a jerk like that

LOL...I think that was the same subreddit I was reading the other day. That's definitely absurd that someone would do that.

I don’t get it. Why give this guy additional visibility if you think his site is a bad one?

I’ve gone to his site, concluded there’s nothing useful for me. But I have nothing against it either. So I click on this thread when it gets any updates because I could use some lighthearted entertainment.

I would never have visited his site had it not for the mentioning on here. So, all the complains had helped him. “All publicity is good publicity”.

My thought is that if this or any other topic isn't of interest to someone for whatever reason, being it entertainment or information sharing about a resort or the sport in general, folks can just scroll on by. You don't have to read every thread. That's what I do. There are many threads I simply do not open on this forum or others that I participate in like skitalk.

Seriously if that guy had the balls to call my employer because I called him the loser that he is, there would be consequences...

On word and up word. Yes, we got screwed, butt Killington is owned by locals and it's going to be a great year. On-line grudges are like rein deer games. When you aren't allowed to play you win.

“Move on” to what?

Ski season hasn’t started yet. :(

So yeah, anything or everything during this period can be “entertainment” as far as I’m concern. I have no objection to this thread floated to the top due to lack of other threads. I’m merely pointing out for the people who thought Skiology is a bad site, the best thing they can do collectively is NOT to post any information about that site.

For the rest of us? Watching the drama is definitely an entertainment. You know, when there’s a street fight, the bystanders cheer it on… because it’s fun to watch the story unfold every which way.

The issue is, the story unfolded 9 months ago and there is no more additional news. If there was new news, sure I’d love to hear about it. I just don’t get the point of reposting a story that is 9 months old.

But hey, we are not even skiing yet - so post away on old news 😜

What's wrong with getting someone fired. I always spend at least 5th of my time doing just that. Some people suck at what they think they're good at. It gets complicated F.A.S.T.

Sometimes it’s hard to know if you’re serious Bode, but you really are OK with trying to take away someone’s livelihood because you had an argument with them about the weather ?

It's the ski industry. For what it's worth. I rarely pull it off. When I was at Waste Management, inc. The guys above me wanted to fire a woman I worked with (she was a temp) she was very good, butt put a butt (correct use ) out on a picknick table, and they fired her. I tried to let her stay. Another guy made a call to a customer and said they had 2 hrs to get back to him. Then he said "tick Toc, etc". He was gone by 9:15.

It's against to strong arm people for money under any....

I find it hard to believe that anyone even snow-olo-gy matt (trying to avoid the search algorithm there😅) would actively go after some rando IRL over just an internet debate about weather and nothing else. There HAS to be more to this story...
