what happens when clownboy gets the wind hold forecast wrong? what if people don't go to the mountain because he told them not to and it turns out to be open??
additionally, Matt clearly doesn't understand vail operations at all. If they don't collect a bunch of people standing around in the cold for a wind hold, how are they supposed to sell more food & Hot Chocolate to them? Vail operations knows EXACTLY what they are doing

Ha. I really don't understand what Matt is saying, in addition to Bluebird they managed to get Sunbrook Canyon and Sundance running between 11:00 and 12:00. MT snow was savvy enough to use telecommunications to constantly update their Twitter feed with lift openings, wind, and snow totals. it was pretty obvious it was going to be busy at Bluebird in the morning.

He just had a big fundraising push and apparently quite a few people donated money. My favorite comment during that push was from one of the moderators of the group claiming how "transparent" Matt was about the need for the money and what it would be used for. I had to bite my tongue and try really hard not to make a snarky comment about how much of the fundraising money was going towards defending the lawsuit against him if he's so "transparent".
He has a vendetta against Mt Snow specifically for some reason. Also if you need to follow him to know whether to ski or not you deserve to stay home. Plus his windhold maps are useless.
My favorite part is how he acts like the NWS are some amateurs who are always wrong. Then proceeds to explain how he can’t always be right with his predictions (while saying hes 99% right). Also didn’t you know 18” skis the same as 40” according to him. Don’t get me started on the sleet.

so, how do we illuminate that to everyone? what are the most followed groups on FB that people are dual members of? surprised there hasn't been a thread in the SkiTheEast group on the lawsuit...
wondering if he gives money to the dude at tropical tidbits that he steals the maps from, talk about a hypocrite...
I do think he can become the lib donny trump, he already has the "I alone can fix it" speech down pat!

Umm, unless they hired a brand new head of Mount Ops in the last few days, the Head of Mountain Ops at Mount Snow is KEVIN, Not KEITH Harrington. Heck, he's only been in numerous little videos the mountain put out about the new lifts that went in over the Summer as well as been mentioned numerous times in Ski Area Management Magazine, so a simple fact like that is obviosuly difficult to find out
The guy is such a clown that just isn't correct about so many things he and his site posts
Hes just trying to enlighten everyone to the fact no one else (except NWS and many more qualified mets) do ski area forecasts. Its a full time job copy and pasting snowfall maps from said meteorologists didn’t ya know…

Guessing Kevin, who is often around the base terminal of various lifts at opening time throughout the week, made some comment, maybe even in response to a comment from a likely well known to him guest, about Skiology Matt's false prediction of what their operations will be like yesterday AM. I mean it's not like the head of mountain ops would be getting regular updates from his crew up on the mountain during the storm as well as the numerous weather stations around the mountain as to what the actual conditions were verses just making an estimate from available to all, general region forecasts that the National Weather Service puts out, let alone what the paid forecast service the mountain uses for very specific local forecasts.
