The snow had nothing to really bond with.. And it layed dense so it was heavy...
Too much tension... Not enough bonding...

the day that avalanche control becomes reality at hunter is the day DMC starts getting a LOT of new neighbors! i'd move for next door sure!

We had a slide on the 2-14 on the offpiste side of the fence on "The Cliff" trail..
A kid triggered it.. I slid and he was stuck in up to his waist after sliding a couple meters... He was screaming his head off....

Crazy stuff - but given the dense snowfalls of both storms onto pretty much bare earth not really that unbelievable..
