jeez man, what happened to your rain storm tomorrow night? where did it go batman? crazy

Please, please, please, tell me you're a gimic snowman. You must be. I'm seriously worried about you if you're not. The men in the white jackets are coming if not.....

"Weather station at the loaf base is back to 40??? Did they put the thing next to the cooling towers for tonight or what?!?!? "

Now you're talking out of your ass. It's 39 at Waterville, ME, which is at 300 feet and maybe 25 miles from the ocean. I think your "temps" are from the hot air coming out of your head.

I can't help it if the weather station is going bezerk. I'f just reporting what I see. I think they must have a window open or the forecasted temps are going to be way off. I DO know it's 43F here and I'm at 1000 feet in CANADA.....much further north.

Yes, but it's also 45F at near sea level where I am 300-500 miles south of all these areas.

N0AA 3400 ft Forecast for the Kingfield region:

Monday Night: A chance of snow showers, mixing with rain after 2am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 20. South wind around 10 mph becoming west. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Well, actually, they're still forecasting it. It makes no sense, but they are. I've just come to the conclusion you're the biggest troll/a$$hole on this board by far. You never add anything constructive to any of the conversations...you just sit there, being an a$$hole. I'm reporting facts pertinent to the topic. Perhaps you should go to potheads.com where you could maybe make some factual observations on the only topic you know anything about.

Nova Scotia I take it? Pretty typical for it to be warmer there... anywhere else in eastern Canada and I'd say your thermometers up there are as off as your "official Sugarloaf snowmaking thermometer."

I'm quite sure the temperature reading I'm getting for the base of loaf (40F) is wrong, given the forecast, but it being 43F here really makes me wonder.

It's often warmer here as we get stuck on the other side of the jet as new england etc, I'm not going to argue with you there. It just seems nothing seems to add up tonight though...weather guages at the loaf, NOAA forecasting rain at 20F etc etc....nothing seems to make any sense.

"We have made substantial headway toward getting enough snow on the ground to open for the season," said Frank Guerriero, Sugarloaf director of marketing.

If there was still any doubt; this is an actual base building effort. Not a test.

If they are snowmaking for real and choose to try to make snow all this week, well then, I think they're nuts, I was basing my guesstimations on the people making the decisions actually being some degree of sane.

The great snowman knows all. If he thinks they're nuts, then they must be... ;)

I know it's hard to tell over the internet, but I'm TOTALLY not serious....

"You're dreaming I'm afraid. The first time the loaf is going to even remotely be able to make snow is Nov 4th,"

This is my point snowman. I do not claim to know even a fraction as much about making snow as you do. Never have I mentioned it. Why I give you crap is because you back peddle constantly and NEVER admit when you're wrong. The quote above is a direct quote from you. You said it. Now that I bring up you spin your claims into saying, "I meant they won't be making snow 'for keeps' until after November 4th"

For someone who is going nuts calling out every ski area (but Attitash) as masters of spin, you spin a pretty good tune yourself. This is why you catch so much crap around here. You call everyone on this board and idiot, but if you just for once stook back and read some of the drivel you write.......
