Thus far Killington and Sugarbush were good enough to check in and let us know that they are making snow. Who else has started?

Looks like Sunday River has also started.

As of 4:49 pm we're under way with snowmaking and hope to continue making snow through the weekend. Temps are going to be borderline during the day which may force us to retreat to higher elevations at times, but we're going to make the most of it.

So far we have killington, sugarbush, sunday river and sugarloaf. For all the abuse they take ASC is leading the way.

The real race is who gets opens first (bunny slopes need not apply).

Just got this from MS!

It snowed again Wednesday night/Thursday morning. Randy Barrows, our Snowmaking Manager, expects his crew to start up the snow guns Thursday night. If temperatures stay low enough they'll be able to make snow all the way through Sunday evening, creating stockpiles they can then start spreading around the mountain. So wax your boards, tear that old lift ticket off your jacket, make sure you have your lip balm or whatever else you need to do to get prepared, because it is getting close to go-time!

Killington- Started
Sugarbush- Started
Sunday River- Started
Sugarloaf- Started
whiteface- should be starting Thursday night
Jay Peak- should be starting Thursday night
