There are about 15 of us that meet up somewhat regularly. 11.30 on Sat and Sunday at Barker and around the barker lift at 8am or the road runner trail. If you want to meet folks its easy at the River. 1/2 are cross board posters other 1/2 just River board members. We do BBQ's usually early and late season when the terrain gets a bit limited. Meet sometimes at the north peak Lodge around 10 in Season to stay out of the barker cluster..

All it will take it a small amount of effort on your part and you'll be in the group. Ga2ski Maineskier69,snowmonster,thaller1Terry, Backintoit and spouses are people I see almost every weekend. JerryG is in there also.

Steve (bartender at Barker can point us out if your shy.) Pretty easy to figure out the River board. Meets and greets posted. Thaller1 or I usually cross post the events. River folk are Skis left and right,Tofer, Mr and Mrs Vokl boarder, sorry Jan can't remember your sir name. toots is there with Backintoit. Whaller is there(Thaller1 other 1/2 Good beers:-D) If you get a chance meet Makarina and Hedgehog(The Brits great folk) Sorry if I missed someone. Many others that I see, but this is the group i'm aware of that hangs pretty close. Ga2ski and thaller! could add more best I can do before a full cup of coffee.

I would suggest you post a trip and event. Sounds like you are up midweeker.. Another set of folks that are midweekers.

Bob - You mentioned me. I was just too lazy to post more. You pretty much summed up how the gaverings occur.

Prisnah - Just shoot one of us a PM here or on the SR Board and we will meet up with you. I usually check the SR board more often.

Bob and THaller are King and Queen of the meet and greets.

I agree. The crew at the River is great. It's part of the reason I decided to get a Maine Pass. Aside from skis, part of the required gear at the River is a small grill. Can't wait to see you guys again.

You should have posted that on the river board snowmonster. Those folks(management) should see that post. Ones of the better post I have seen. Shows how important the community is. Short term goal is to get Prisnah in the group. Very cool post Snowmonster and we are looking forward to your good humor.

...is a nice area.....

Prisnah, just bring the CamelPak(H2O) and we meet up at the River's Area 51...Tower ?#13?? on the mornings following the nightly dump! The most important item is the cell phone...to call in sick to work with the rehearsed cough on the way up...;-)
