Great day. 2" reported overnight sure skied like 4 to 6+ early! Light crowds and warming temps was a bonus.

Could be the big winds building out of the S/SW that have plagued numerous ski areas up and down the spine of the Greens today

Ok the reason I wondered is on the trail map they have an X. Where they generally have a pause sign.

Anyone have thoughts on tomorrow? Wanted 1 last daytrip of the year but worried about wind

Skied all day. No idea why the quad was closed. Winds were present at times coming mostly out of the W, but not ripping. Chairs were on the line this am, then removed midday.

Wish Lookout could run when quad is on hold to give us a bit more vert, but there's 1' of snow on all the chairs so that hasn't run yet this year.

Go for it. Even without the quad (on Monday & today), never waited more than a chair or two with the light crowds, so you can get alot of runs in.

Afternoon report not looking great for tomorrow...

Ridgetop winds are forecast to be strong tomorrow. They should be increasing out of the south to speeds of 40 – 60 miles per hour by the afternoon, and those winds are likely to affect lift operations at some point tomorrow.

I did see them run Lookout a couple mornings before Thanksgiving just for a half hour or so. No riders but it did run shortly.

heard a skier ran into a winch cable/winch cat early this AM on Chin Clip. I bet there will be some big changes to uphill access coming
