I just booked my room at the Town and Country resort for 5 nights..beginning Sunday night. Their spring rate for a standard room is $84 per night. But I was able to get $65 per night plus tax..by simply asking if I could have the room for that price. Here's a link to their website.

Best of all is there's a public computer hooked up to the internet in the lobby.

Sweet..where did you stay? I'm hoping it snows while I'm there..there are chances of snow in the forecast for early next week...I haven't skied Stowe since 420 weekend 2007..

It's my favorite place to ski in the east..

Stayed at Ye Olde England Inn one night and the Mountaineer another.

just got back as well. the grommers where great. that felt kinda weird to type. did two runs out in the notch and there is a funky crust in places. commited turns where the name of the game. i may have to go back up next weekend to finish some stuff.

Stowe does have some great high speed groomers..the first hour of a non-powder day I like to warm up with 5 fast groomers..groomers for me are a guilty pleasure like 80s music and fat chicks..some crust is O.K. as long as there's not a sheen of ice over everything..I can't wait to hit Lookout and Goat..along with all the accompanying woods..

I should get there around 4:20PM on Sunday..PM me if you want to meet up for some runs..My plan looks like..

Stowe Monday....Sugarbush South on Tuesday..Stowe Wednesday-Friday.,,and maybe another day or two as well..maybe Magic on the way home..

Looks like spring snow for Mansfield next week. Not the powder fest last march/april was, but deep base should make for some nice cruising.
